Towed During Snow Removal

Dear Sir/Madam;

On the 27th of December , its the day that Montreal was struck by the Snow storm, I drove back from work around 2:15 pm and reached home at 3:00 pm and parked the car on the street (Decarie Blvd). I made sure that there was no signs for snow removal or anything like that. The only sign was there was for parking times. I woke up the next day and found that my car was towed and the orange signs were placed .Looked for it around 7 am on the 28th and I couldn’t find it still. at around 10 am the information was updated and the car was parked on Vezina street (was originally parked on Bourret and Decarie). So I went there to take a look at the car , I found a dent on the passengers door, Weird noise coming out when the car is taking off now , and the steering wheel is tilted as if something in the alignment got messed up.

On the night of the 28th the signs were still there (no parking from 19 – 7) but cars are parked there, so I woke up the second day and I didn’t see the signs and the cars parked there have no tickets but since the signs were there I had to fight and go look for a parking so I wont take another ticket.

Do you think my chances of wining this case are higher than loosing it ?

Thanks,

Tarek.
