Probationary licence quebec

My Granddaughter received her Probationary licence July 2012.   She was issued a speeding ticket in Nov 2012 (2 points) and just received another one April 2013 in Gatineau for going 71 in a 50 KM zone (2 points).
I advised her to plead not guilty to the second ticket to avoid the automatic suspension of her licence.    Still waiting to receive the court date,  is it possible in Quebec (Gatineau) to see someone prior to the court date and ask for a reduction in speed or whatever to reduce the points. She works and needs her licence,  the only other option would be for her to move in with me in Ontario and for her to get an Ontario licence.   That is complicated but even if the points follow to Ontario a G2 is allowed 6 points and even than a person has a chance to speak to the Minister’s office prior to suspension.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's always better to be represented to avoid the worst.

OBVIOUSLY – SHE DOES NOT ‘GET IT’ …… SECOND TICKET? A NEW DRIVER? NO EXPERIENCE WITH SPEED AND CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE?

YOU SHOULD TAKE AWAY THE CAR…..UNTIL SHE UNDERSTANDS – SLOW DOWN. SLOW DOWN!!!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE CONSEQUENCES FROM THE PARENTS….GRAND PARENTS…..WHOMEVER.

DRIVE THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HIT A KID? THINK OF THE LAW SUIT. THAT WILL BE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE….FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE YOUNG LADY!

AS AN EX COP —- SLOW DOWN THE RULES ARE MEANT FOR YOU TOO.

WAY TOOOO MUCH ENABLING…..TO MUCH ENTITLEMENT THAT IS OUT OF CONTROL WITH YOUNG PEOPLE…….

CONSEQUENCES FOR YOUR ACTIONS. LINDSAY LOHAN COMES TO MIND……..JAIL TIME NEEDED IN HER CASE…….TIME AND TIME AGAIN…..WITHOUT HER GETTING IT!

PAY NOW – OR PAY LATER WITH SOMEONES LIFE!!!

hey rod as a cop i’m sure you were always driving under the limits …

    so stop talking crap

contesting a ticket is a way to do it, if your lucky she will have her normal permit before court date…depending on how far she is from that date

like any other court thing you can try to deal it before court….but just remember the person has NO OBLIGATION he does has he want’s

if you want to switch province…she has to move at you location (at least on paper)

but she has to do it before she has un permit suspended…because after that they won’t do it

and having more points will not nocessarly save her…ontario and quebec have exchange program but the points don’t follow…each province put the point on it depending on there standard…they have a chart for that

and like rod stated so politely she should also check her driving habit they didn’t put 4 points for fun

but i know if your unlucky you probably can get 4 points trying your best to follow rules…
