Will they do a speeding ticket contestation ?
Her story :
***************
Hello,
My son got a speeding ticket in Rawdon. He was driving on a small road with a lot of curves (no houses on the side of the street) at the end of the village towards St-Ambroise. He was driving at about 70km/h since he taught he was in that zone. The officer was coming in the reverse lane and radar his speed. The officer said that he was driving at 91km/h in a 50km/h speed limit zone. My son is contesting and he is waiting for his hearing date. I would like to know the reliability of the radar inside of a moving vehicle.
Thank you !

My opinion : (more…)

of points are limited…

27 years old and I’ve got my licence for more then 8 years and never got a ticket before that date; it is my first infraction.
no school. The officer gave me the following reason: you are near a bicycle path; the limit is 30km/h.
that occurred at the end of a highway limited at 100km/h right after the speed limit change. The speed registered is 79km/h.
probably will interest all drivers…
